You know what's disgusting?
That he did not win in spite of his being disgusting.
He won *because* he is disgusting.

That's what the world wants, apparently.
2000, x votes
2004, 4 more years of injustice and lies plus a war = x + 3million votes.
Disgusting.
And that's exactly what's going to happen in Italy next year, too.

COME GATHER ROUND PEOPLE WHEREVER YOU ROAM AND ADMIT THAT THE WATERS AROUND
YOU HAVE GROWN.

Only this time it is us who are a-changin'.
Disgusting.

beppe!  paisan!  you ravioli eating meatball you!  let me explain one
thing -- bush won because kerry was his opponent.  he wasn't offering
anything different.  not one thing different.

back in september, some knucklehead here asked:

"question is why would anyone vote for Bush?  The country is in the
worst shape it's been in since the Carter Years"

and i explained:

"the unemployment rate at the end of clinton's first term is the same as
it is now.

you're talking out of your ass.

the country is in the same "shape" it's always been.

you're just stuck on political labels and really buy this crap about the
democrats being somehow different - that they actually care a lot more
for the "working man" than the republicans do, that they aren't exactly
the same as them when it comes to serving the interests of big business.

why would anyone vote for bush?

because kerry is kerry.

and he's got nothing better to offer them.

it's as simple as that.

."

now, with that out of the way, where are all the rmd'ers from the usa
who said they would be moving if bush won?

have they left already?

Peasant? Paisānt?
Oh, I see..............You mean *PAISA'*, no *n* and with an accent.
You're not my *paisa'*, to boot.

you ravioli eating meatball you!

I'd rather have tortellini, please.
Just going to cook some.
Want to share?

Ah, ok.
That's why there was no fuzz at all about this election.
Thank God there's you explaining things here.

> you're talking out of your ass.

Still I'm doing  certainly better than 51% Americans did in their booths.

> it's as simple as that.

No.
Simple is:
*Bush won becuase he made war.
People want war.
We are the people.
We want war
War is stupid.
We are stupid*
Now THAT IS simple.
And sadly true.

Sadly, that is true.  The "god of vengeance and hatred" is alive and well
in the US. The polarity in the country is divided along two very different
understandings of morality, not that I think the Democrats are much
better.  My county, Washtenaw, voted for Kerry 63%.  Wayne county
(Detroit) voted for him 69%.  My student employee was almost attacked in
his home town for wearing a Kerry sticker.  I went to an Old Crow Medicine
Show concert this summer, and two guys wearing Bush buttons loudly
proclaimed they would beat their way out of enemy territory (downtown Ann
Arbor) if they had to, as if anyone here would want to keep them.  I live
in an oasis surrounded by deer killing yahoos who haven't got the wits
about them to discern between 'thought' and 'brute force'.  It's scary.
I'm looking forward to 4 years of intense artistic inspiration.

beppe....you guys had mussolini.

Does that mean you realize 30 million people voted for a dickhead as
dangerous as Mussolini was?

That's exactly what I meant!

BEPPE 04 11 04

Yes, I know.
I was being ironic, actually.
I know you don't know, you don't want to know, you're not interested in
history.
And that *shut the fuck up* is the motto of the whole Bush's agenda.
*shut the fuck up* to the inspectors who found nothing
*shut the fuck up* to the world who asks for peace
*shut the fuck up* to the UNO
*shut the fuck up* to those who pity a nation rewarding a master of war with
a 3million votes surplus
*shut the fuck up* is the answer to any question, for bushers.
Thank you for reminding me.

MARLON 04 11 04

actually, you sub-human pizza slinger, I am interested in history. But
this is a Bob Dylan news group not a fucking history lesson.
so again shut the fuck up.

BEPPE 04 11 04

actually, you sub-human pizza slinger,

Name calling, eh?
All spoiled brats' last resort, isn't it?
But if that makes you feel better, go ahead, I don't mind.

I am interested in history. But
> this is a Bob Dylan news group not a fucking history lesson.

Oh, that's why you always post your so interesting essays on Dylan's art.
Excuse me forgetting.

> so again shut the fuck up.

Yes, your motto.
I won't forget.

And may I humbly ask you whar's your favourite Dylan albums?
Next time I'll listen to it, I'd like to try to understand if the
*shut-the-fuck-up* attitude of you warmonger bushers helps me get deeper
into Dylan's music.
